Members Reviews:
Absolute working knowledge.
This is a decent book that will provide you a good working knowledge of Big Data. It also climaxes how the evolving skills are allowing us to use data in ways we've never absorbed on before.
If you want to get an upright summary of what big data is and the promise it holds, then this is a good book for you. If you are looking to get deep into the tidies of the technologies supporting big data, this is not the right book for you.
Read it it to understand concepts of Big Data.
Excessive synopsis of Big Data. Value reading, unquestionably. Presents perceptions, real life examples of usage with pros and cons including associating risks. This book also displays possible states for setting Big Data in people's lives.
Clear Business Cases and Excellent descriptions
Exceptional book that provides some excessive examples and facts for Big Data. It shies away from technical executions, and in its place focuses on the details to pay attention to Big Data as a trend and how it can help a business or organization succeed. If you're looking for compact advices for why people should implement Big Data techniques in your organization, this is the book for you.
Well written.........
There will be plenty of winners who develop ways to use data and correlations to make things better and the trend is becoming commonplace. The trick is really how to invent novel uses for the data and learn unique things that may be apparent but not obvious. Worth reading if only to understand that for all the "Big Data" talk and pomposity in the media, it is really a convincing technique to analyze all the information at hand and learn what the data say with few preconceived notions. I really liked how it was summarized with the simple but meaningful.
Its truelt a revelation.
The author discloses how correlation analysis provides insight to all nature of marvels. He also defines the three categories of people associated with Big Data: Mind-setters, data specialist/analysts, and data holders. There are great benefits to Big Data and great detriments, among them a tendency to 'predictive punishment'. This book is a 'must' for anyone in management or middle management in government or commerce.
