Fresh data released by Statistics Canada shows where the highest rates of non-resident ownership are in BC and Canada. It shows the resort municipalities of Sun Peaks (17%) and Whistler (15.5%) have a high proportion of non resident property owners, as well as the UBC Endowment Lands (or Electoral Area A, at 14%). StatsCan unveiled data showing both the cities of Vancouver and Richmond have a non-resident ownership rate just above 7%
