Phronus is Philip Wiedow from Rostock and was born in 1992.

Due to his technical intere​stings in engines, mechanic and also playing around with sounds are an essential part in his life. Especially he took the focus to deep dark minimal groove techno and glitchy tech- music.

Because of his father he won in early years the honor to hear techno music. It start´s with the sound of Depeche Mode, Sven Väth, Miss Kittin and Steve Bug. In the year 2005 on of his best friends, the Dj and producer Miron shows him the first steps for mixing techno sets. Few years later he plays the first time a set on an official party from a club in his hometwon Witten​berge.

More influences of him are also his mom who is a teacher for aurally handicapped students and also a lot of artists and musicans like Johnny Cash, Grouch and e.g. Krumelur. At that time he is studying ship-e​nginee​ring.

For the future his plan is do to a lot more with music and music-​techni​cal things after he graduate his study.
