"I find spending time with my family super detrimental to my mental wellbeing. They trigger me and remind me of who I was before I actually took part in the real world. I don't want to spend Christmas with them but also can't shake the adage that blood is thicker than water. Is it acceptable to not spend Christmas with them?" 

"Right so I went on a date with a great gal, best date I've had in a while, mentioned I was looking for a room, and I know she's looking for a roommate, since she hasn't had any luck finding someone and has asked if maybe I was interested, her flat is gorg, she's an absolute spice but I can also imagine being pals"
