Service is often seen as a beautiful, benevolent, and fulfilling experience—but in reality, it comes with all of that and so much more! There’s also a ‘shadow side’ to service that we must acknowledge—an ‘ugly side’ that challenges us to examine our motivations and the legacy we want to leave behind.
