Dave told us the win against Dallas was the result of a sense of urgency for the Falcons knowing they needed the win if they want to make the playoffs. Arch said Freeman could miss multiple weeks and the move made by the Falcons kind of confirms that hypothesis. Dave ranked the game defensive wise by Clayborn and called it the greatest one that he has been able to call based on the results of his historic day. Arch talked about Matt Ryan being frustrated on the sideline by certain calls that weren’t being called by the refs. Dave thinks the offense has gotten better with the combination of Matt Ryan making better decisions distributing the ball along with the play calling by Sarkisian. Arch gave props to kicker Matt Bryant referring to him as a crocodile/ dinosaur. Dave told us Dan Quinn sticks to the running game because of who he has at tailback and the way they are able to explode and get the yards needed. Arch complemented the Seahawks defense and said the numbers don’t tell the story of how well they play in big games. Dave weighed in on the CFB playoff rankings and how he decides where and why teams should be ranked where they are. Arch favors who teams play and what their resume looks like.
