On St. Patrick’s Day 2001, Dublin had to delay its parade on account of an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease. Luckily the Senior Wildcats of the Norwich Free Academy were safely an ocean away wearing not only green, but plenty of red and white. Among them was the great Dave (Wei Li) Fan.

He now Zooms with us from San Francisco, California. How did a Norwich kid turned Boston University student end up out there? You’ll have to listen to find out.
