Dave from the Dopey podcast joins us today to get deep about addiction, recovery and podcasting. If you haven’t listened to Dopey, it’s one of the biggest addiction podcasts with 3 million+ downloads and has been featured on This American Life, Vice and Hollywood Reporter. They’ve had a ton of celebrity guests including Artie Lange, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Marc Maron. But the future of the podcast was in jeopardy when one of the cohosts, Chris died of a drug overdose.

Dave talks honestly about his decision to continue the show after the death of his cohost, his best friend Todd, and why he ultimately decided to show up for his audience as well as himself.
