By law, certain categories of public organizations are not allowed to pay ransomware. Last week in North Miami there was a data breach using ransomware. Florida and North Carolina are the only states that do not allow government organizations to use taxpayer money to pay criminals. Dave explains to us the potential benefits and drawbacks of this policy, and the rules around ransomware that govern the private sector.
