Big Dave Ostlund is a former World's Strongestman competitor.  At one point he lifted his way to be the 3rd Strongest man in the World.  Dave began his love of weightlifting at Edina (Minnesota) High School while competing in the shot put and discus.  He knew to improve in those sports, he needed to get stronger.  From there, his passion for pushing his body grew as fast as his gains went up.  While in college, he entered a Strongman competition just for fun and ended winning the damn thing.  It became a life altering moment.  And from there he pushed, pulled and lifted his way to professional status.  How does one train for such competitions?  What did he eat?  What are the events like?  How are the other competitors?  All of those questions are answered plus more.  A big thank you to Dave for being on Unrestricted!  He would like to thank Thousand Hills Beef for supporting him, you can find them here: https://thousandhillslifetimegrazed.com/
