David A.K.A. Davey Himmel joins us on today's podcast to talk about his experience at Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods Camps. Davey saw many different angles of camp over his years. He was a camper, counselor, waterfront director, and more, and he eventually ran our Rookie Camp program for five summers. Davey is the author of several books, including A Camp Story: The History of Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods Camps, a book that beautifully captures what it means to have been a part of the Lake of the Woods and Greenwoods family.
