God called David a man after his own heart. As we study the life of David

we see that God put David through many trials and tribulations preparing

him to be the King of Israel. God literally has to crush the pride out of

us in order to clothe us in His humility. David was hunted like an animal

as the jealous King he loved and served tried to kill him.
