David Boyens is Denise's older brother & best friend. This week on Mental Maintenance David shares his perspective of their childhood where he grew up in multiple homes, with & without Denise around. David was surrounded by constant living arrangement changes from one set of adults to the next & he says that for most of his childhood, he felt like he never had a place to call home. David & Denise both explain their relationship as siblings & how they've been able to really connect and become close. David shares how difficult it was to come out to his friends & family at the age of 27 and that even through all the chaos, he can't think of his life being any different because it's allowed him to get to the point he is now - happy!
