Our guest for this Conversation is David Byrne, who is an adjunct professor of history at California Baptist University and Santa Monica College. He recently released his book Ronald Reagan: An Intellectual Biography. During this conversation, we discuss the presidency of Ronald Reagan, including what influenced his political positions, how he conducted himself and some of what he actually believed. We also discussed Reagan’s influence in modern day conservatism and whether he paved the way for President Donald Trump.
