Queensland Labor has been left humiliated in its heartland in a by-election nightmare. The weekend's result is a brutal reality check for the party ahead of October's state election. In Ipswich West, Labor has seen a huge swing of more than 17 per cent, with the LNP snatching the seat for the first time since 2012.
