David Green has 50+ years to go

Listen Later

Episode 41: David Green has a strong interest in the broad areas of sustainability and social justice, and has worked and travelled abroad extensively. After working as a mechanical engineer for Ingersoll Rand and as a real estate agent, David spent the next 11 years working in remote areas of the world as a science technician, educator, sailor, engineer and guide. Between job assignments, he arranged to travel and to study sustainability and health & nutrition. Since arriving in the Bay Area, David has maintained his multi-faceted engagement, working in education, as a sustainable agriculture promoter and entrepreneur. Most recently, David collaborated to create the Michoacan Organics brand, where he managed the logistics, sales and producer experience to help sell millions of dollars of organic avocados into the United States. He is also involved in Producers Market, a start-up working to connect farmers and consumers.
This episode's motto: "It gets easier with time."
