This is a pre-concert talk of David Greilsammer piano recital Scarlatti:Cage (5 & 8 Sep 2021, Hong Kong City Hall).
"Scarlatti and John Cage are both unusual composers, because they are revolutionary composers. They are composers who decide to invent a new kind of sound...As you will notice, I have two pianos on stage. And I have a stool in between the pianos, and I play the two pianos alternating Scarlatti and John Cage. This way, I can turn and play without any interruptions without any stoppings in between the sonatas." David Greilsammer
