But on the other hand, chronic pain is a completely different thing, and it’s really linked more to our brain than it is to any actual damage in the physical body.

Dr. David Hanscom arrived at these conclusions in a really interesting way – as a spine surgeon, who realized that the procedures he was performing actually have an incredibly low success rate, and at the same time, that his approach to work was actually causing considerable adverse reactions in his own body.
