What Child is This? Joseph, Mary, and Simeon

On a sabbath day, about 2025 years ago, the anguished Joseph perhaps heard this Scripture read in his synagogue of Nazareth:

Isaiah 7:14

Matthew 1:20 -22

Luke 1:28 55

LUKE 2:19 But Mary kept all these things [in her mind], pondering [them] in her heart.

Luke 2:33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

Luke 2:51 (12 years later)

And he (Jesus) went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

Perhaps one day the righteous man Simeon (perhaps a scribe) wrote in koiné Greek:

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

…and felt like throwing down his pen. HOW could this be??
