Supply chain issues are continuing to cause headaches for many Kiwi exporters, with Covid lockdowns and inflation continuing to create havoc.

NZ company Skellerup Holdings does a lot of manufacturing in China and distributes all over the world, so chief executive David Mair is well placed to offer some insight into the supply chain crunch that's adding costs everywhere.

The good news is that Mair believes things are about as tough as they'll get for supply chains - with some signs of pressure easing.

The bad news is that he doesn't see inflation easing fast.
