David Ozgo is the president of the Cigar Association of America (CAA). Prior to joining CAA he was a Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at the Distilled Spirits Council (DISCUS) for over 20 years. At DISCUS he was part of the team that changed long standing laws in 18 states that prevented the sale of liquor on Sundays. Mr. Ozgo has frequently testified before legislative bodies on tax, regulatory and market access issues.
