Out of the obscurity of shepherding sheep in the outback, David was anointed as future king. He appeared to be the most unlikely candidate compared to his seven older brothers. Yet, God chose David and he grew to be known as “the man after God’s own heart”, despite his shortcomings. What can we learn from his anointing?
