With 14 years experience in building and construction industry David has a wealth of practical real world skills. He is a master in the art of natural plastering techniques, has solid experience with earthbag construction, and is adept in permaculture best practices.

David has a true entrepreneurial spirit and a real heart for our planet. In 2009 he sold his home and put it all on the line to bring his vision for DOME Lombok into reality. He’s built a talented and passionate team, and remains responsible for the overall management and design of the project.

Since then David has founded two more successful sustainable building companies in Sweden, DECO and Creative Coatings. DECO are a leading supplier of natural plasters and building and artistic construction. Creative Coatings, make stunning living spaces using natural plasters. Both companies are on the frontline of sustainable construction in Sweden and have been involved in numerous projects including creating;

Earth walls and art paint on award winning hotel “Stora Hotellet, Umeå”

Luxurious bathrooms for the famous “Ice Hotel 365”.

And 3500 m2 of natural plasters at the “Hotel la Zoologie, Bordeaux”.  

David is father to two young kids and is committed to building a healthier, happier, more sustainable world for his family now, and for families everywhere for generations to come.
