David has 25+ years of experience in financial services, the last 13 of which with Investec where he has been the Head of Structured Finance, Global Co-head of Investec Aviation Finance and currently Head of Investec Emerging Companies. David led the creation of the Investec Aviation Funds where he gained significant funds management and capital markets experience. David has held numerous internal and Investec related external board positions including Goshawk Aviation Limited, IGAF and IASL (which collectively owned US$6bn+ of commercial aircraft globally), as well as a number of investee companies including ICM Airport Technics, H2 Ventures, Pulse iD, Openpay, Propelair and Splend. He discusses Investec’s Emerging companies fund & the Investec, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Global Capital sale of ICM Airport Technics to Amadeus a leading IT service provider for airlines and airports with a market capitalisation of circa Euro 29 billion on the Madrid stock exchange. Daniel is the Managing Director of Chironix which operates throughout A/NZ and the USA. He has a deep interest in artificial intelligence, space technologies, mobile robotics, human memory, cyber operations, cognitive studies & social processes.
