As Chief Cybersecurity Officer of Siemens USA, Kurt oversees the company’s largest market; $25B in products and services and the IT infrastructure that supports key business objectives. 

Kurt is also a Senior non-resident fellow with the Atlantic Council, where he addresses challenges facing America and its allies at the intersection of technology, business, cybersecurity and international policy. Ultimately, producing recommendations that supports improvement of the US’ statecraft. Kurt also serves on the Virginia Innovation Partnership Authority, the Commonwealth’s initiative to drive innovation and improvement of the  tech economy.

Kurt serves on a myriad of other boards for educational institutions, private organizations, and industry associations.
