DAVID SHOSTAC was appointed principal flute of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra in 1975 and can also be heard on hundreds of motion picture soundtracks. He’s retiring from LACO after this season. Here he speaks with Jim Svejda about his time with LACO. (musical selections have been abridged)
