David Silberkleit is the CFO (that’s Chief Frogeye Officer) of the Bugeyeguys, the world leader for Bugeye Sprite sales, restoration, and parts. In 2022 he purchased the first production Bugeye Sprite, a car he imported from Australia. David and his team have sold their 400th Bugeye Sprite this week, an amazing milestone when you consider that in 2007 he started this business from his tiny home garage. Today, Bugeyeguys is a team of seven people in an 11,000 square foot restored Quonset Hut full of classic British sports cars and lots and lots of Bugeye parts. David added the Bugeyeguys parts business in 2017, and has now shipped more than 15,000 boxes of Bugeye bits around the world. Every one of the 400 Bugeyes built by David and his team has been unique and different, from completely stock to fire breathing, plus a recent electric conversion with Tesla Batteries.

Hot Rod Ron Carlsten is a long-time fixture in the traditional hot rod world who promoted some of the first nostalgia hot rod shows in Southern Arizona. His Checkered Strip Productions in Phoenix, Arizona, and formerly in Tucson, Arizona, are well known. He is a custom car builder and hot rod culture broker who has been building cars since 1984 and has built multiple vehicles that have been featured in numerous magazines, ranging from Volkswagen to Hot Rods. Ron’s an experienced car appraiser who has worked for numerous commercial and community stations, managed bands, worked as a booking agent, content creator and as a moderator for online communities. He has curated art shows at major galleries featuring hot rod art and hosted major annual car shows.

David Lichter is the Founder and Owner of Lock Horns, whose locking system patent is the foundation of their first product to market, Wheel Locks… that Actually Lock!™  While standard wheel ‘locks’ don’t actually lock, the Lock Horns brand employs a double-lock technology for enhanced layers of protection, including a personalized coded lock and key needed for installation and removal.  In 2009 David woke up to his new car on cinder blocks, wheels nearly stolen. After searching the market unsuccessfully for a higher quality wheel locking system, he finally decided to ‘reinvent the wheel’ lock, and created his brand to help millions of car owners protect themselves and their families. David's goal is to ‘lock horns’ with thieves and provide a superior wheel theft deterrent for customers!

Mark Hotchkis is a lifelong car and racing enthusiast whose family are legends in those industries. His father John was a partner in a SoCal Porsche/Audi dealership in the 80s and his brother John Jr. launched a performance suspicion company in the 90s. The family raced Porsches from the late 60s through the early 90s including at Le Mans, Daytona, Sebring and more. Mark developed the H-Sport brand with Hotchkis, created enthusiast forums, sales and advertising including Rennlist, 6 Speedlonline, Audiworld, and LS1 Tech. Mark raced in Formula Ford to Indy Lights and won a SCCA National Championship in a ’73 Porsche 914-4 at Mid-Ohio. He’s worked with Pelican Parts and for the past 7 years works with Porsche at their Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles. He’s been a member of the Luftgekühlt production team since Luft 4 and along with Patrick Long and the team brings us Air | Water on April 27, 2024, in southern California at the Orange County Fair Grounds.
