34: Stu's Appreciation of Nature and Youthful Exuberance v. Trump's Team of Idiots, including One Savant

Welcome to episode thirty-four of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:

1) Stu recounts his time on the golf course in Florida, where he observed different species of birds that he found fascinating, in an attempt to add some hopefulness to the dark times we are experiencing.

2) A discussion of Pete Hegseth's disastrous trip overseas, where he gave away key negotiation points to Putin about Ukraine before the negotiations even started, and Trump's doubling down on Hegseth's mess, along with a litany of fabrications about the conflict;

3) Elon Musk's bizarre drug-fueled rampage at a conservative conference, wielding a chainsaw, and his even stranger performance in the Oval Office with his four-year-old son, who picked his nose publicly, and how, despite his intellectual gifts, he is nothing but an idiot savant who is not qualified to reorganize the federal government; and

4) Stu's encounter with three young people starting their careers and his appreciation of their youthful exuberance, while David speculates that their hopes and dreams will be shattered as time passes, just like everyone else's.
