Watch Enthusiasts may know about Vortic Watch Co, and their business model of upcycling some amazing American pocket watch movements in modern wristwatch cases (seriously, these movements tend to be absolutely beautiful by modern standards!). Did you know that Vortic is branching out, and venturing into serial production with the new Colorado Watch Company enterprise? Nick has been on with us before, and it's interesting to reflect on the changes in the vintage Seiko landscape over the past 2 years; the Pogue is still cool, but the latest hotness is definitely the MACV/SOG aesthetic of the Vietnam-era field watches worn by the recon teams of the Studies and Observation Group.
