I have known David since 1989. He joined ‘Springs Health Club’ – the health club that Nigel (my husband at the time) and I had created at Buxted Park Hotel. He was an active member of the gym and one of my first Utopia Running Club members. He and his wife Maureen then became my personal training clients. Maureen sadly died in 1995 and after 31 years of marriage and two children at University, David set about taking steps forward in life without Maureen by his side.

This podcast explores how David’s philosophy of life has always sustained him in times of change and uncertainty – and how now at 75 years old he has over the last few years developed a new career for himself in woodwork, making beautiful cabinets – windows and doors – he is sought after and very busy.
