Looking back on the all the years of bitter argument, Bruce Brundage, the man who first championed the lifesaving heart scan, says ‘I feel vindicated… (but) how many  lives do you think would have been saved if we had done then, what we’re doing now?’   The answer?  ‘A lot.’
