Davina Smith is a 2024 candidate for the Utah State House of Representatives for District #69, which is the largest house district in the state, covering roughly a quarter of the state’s land area in southeast Utah. Originally from Monument Valley, Utah, Davina is an enrolled member of the Diné tribe (the Navajo Nation). Her career experience includes producing documentary films, working as the Director of the Indian Teacher Training program at the University of Utah, and working as an independent consultant for the National Parks Conservation Association.
