Today we're praying for your husbands rest. I know so many of you will scoff and throw up your hands at this and think to yourself, "I don't want to pray for his rest". These prayers are in no particular order and I've kept them that way because so often they hit exactly what we need to hear when we need to hear it.

If you bristle at the idea of praying for your husbands rest, can I encourage you? As someone who struggles to fight the productivity monster every day, I had to look inward and see why I was so angry when my husband rested. I realized this was a me issue. I had to learn that choosing to not rest wasn't a free pass to be angry at him for choosing rest. While that may not be the situation for you, I hope you can join me in praying for your husbands rest today.
