Today we pray Colossians 2:15 over the Hindu World. As you pray, you can specifically pray for Hindu friends and neighbors that you know.

Day 1 - Oct 12th.

The period of time between the Hindu festival of Dussehra (Oct 2nd) and Diwali (October 20th) is deeply rooted in Hindu mythology, specifically the Ramayana, where Lord Ram(a) triumphs over the demon king Ravan(a) on Dussehra. This victory symbolizes the defeat of evil and the restoration of righteousness (Dharma). 

The Bible tells us in the book of Colossians, 2:15, that Christ has disarmed the powers and authorities and triumphed over them by the cross. Let’s pray today for Hindus to know the true King who has truly defeated Evil. 

Lord Jesus, we ask that you would move in a special way during this festival season. Specifically that as Hindus think about and wrestle with the ideas of Good and Evil and the cosmic victory of righteousness that You would make known to them that true victory over evil, over sin and death, is found only in you the one who has conquered the grave. Lord Jesus, disarm the rulers and principalities that hold this people in captivity that they might know the triumph of the cross.
