Moses reminded Israel of the covenant God made with them. He reminded them of the miraculous acts of God and how He provided for Israel as they journeyed. He warned them not to turn away from God to other Gods, but to obey His commands and renew their commitment to Him. Israel must turn to God, and He would bless them and cleanse their hearts. The truth of God’s Word is not far from His people, but available for them to hear and obey. The result of obedience to God is life.
