Guiding Scripture:'For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. ' Psalms 84:11
'The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and disgrace themselves. ' Proverbs 13:5
Written by Torrie Slaughter
One conviction the Holy Spirit planted in me was to solve a different problem. Once I began this ministry, I knew I would encounter spiritual and emotional challenges. Preparing with God each day and putting on my armor is how I depend on His strength. We can do our part, receive enough for the day, and move strategically with focused intention.
To help others thrive in their unique gifts would mean they could not be intimidated or offended by my behavior. Well, that was a hefty burden to carry and quickly exhausted my strength. I grew bitter and tired of creatively voicing concerns while attempting to implement effective strategies.
