In Judges 5 and 6 we learn see the judge Gideon, who spoke with the pre-incarnate Christ, tasked to lead His people into war, despite Gideon's doubts. We learn more about the heart of Christ, His patience, and His love to work with those who are completely dependent on Him alone.
