At no point in the ordination ceremony does Aaron do anything to make himself ready. He is washed. He is clothed. He is anointed. He is marked with blood from ear to toe. Every verb of preparation belongs to God, not Aaron. And at the end of it all, God says the quiet part plainly: I will dwell among them. That was always the point.
