Yesterday we began the story of Ruth, one of only two books of the Bible written by a woman. How will the Lord redeem her family? Ruth is an earthly ancestor of Christ our Lord.
We also read how Christ presents redeeming living water to the woman at the well. Such great faith stories are woven together to show Jesus' compassion for humanity.
As a woman of faith, I am often told what I am NOT allowed to do within the body of Christ. It is disheartening and liberating at the same time. The Word of God tells us that He uses everyone to proclaim His Gospel. We can glorify God, our Abba Father, in more ways than one.
