Saints in a Year

Day 130: St. John Ogilvie

Listen Later

Today the Church honors St. John Ogilvie, a Scottish Jesuit priest who was martyred for his Catholic faith during the religious persecutions of the Reformation.

After converting from Protestantism, he returned to Scotland to secretly minister to Catholics, risking his life to celebrate the sacraments.

In this episode of Saints in a Year, Saul reflects on courage, religious freedom, and the power of faithful witness.
