The sinful argument of "Who Is the Greatest" is continuing in Peter's mind : ) In as sense this is the 4th time we read about this conflict with the Disciples. Peter is absolutely confident that the other 11 disciples might fall away and betray Jesus, but that he, Peter, will remain loyal to the very end. Jesus has some very simple but profound things to say to Peter to strengthen him against despair and self-loathing once he fails Jesus more deeply that Peter can even imagine is possible.
Once again we see how steady and strong Jesus is for Peter even during Peter's greatest failures and sins.
Jesus is amazing and this is who He wants to be in our lives as well!
