To the angry mob who watched as Jesus was interrogated in Caiaphas' house, He seemed utterly alone and abandoned to the whims of powerful men. But all these were blind. In truth, as Anne Catherine saw in her vision, Jesus was the only one present with any genuine power-the strength of holiness, made perfect in weakness. Behind it was an unseen play between the forces of good and evil.
The high priest stood up and said, "Have You no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against You?" But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to Him, "I adjure You by the living God, tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God." Jesus said to him, "You have said so. But I tell you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven." - Matthew 26:62-64
