Mirroring is the behavior where one person subconsciously imitates the gestures, speech patterns, or attitude of another. Mirroring often occurs in social situations, such as dates or arguments. It can be used to built rapport.
We do it in podcasting. For example, when you interview a high-energy guest, it's easy to find yourself matching that energy in an effort to build connection.
But it can be a problem in podcasting... And that's what I talk about on this episode of Podcast Interviewing School.
