Day 18 📖 I Was Blind, But Now I See | Genesis 37:1–38:30; John 9:1–41; Psalm 16:1–11; Proverbs 3:27–32
Welcome to GraceVine's Daily Bible. How is it possible to have perfect vision yet be completely blind to the truth right in front of us? Today’s journey takes us deep into this very question, exploring stories of jealousy that blinds, hypocrisy that deceives, and a miraculous healing that opens a man’s eyes to a reality far greater than the one he knew. We’ll see the stark contrast between those who claim to see but are lost in darkness, and those who admit their blindness and are led into the marvellous light of Christ.
What You’ll Hear:
Genesis 37:1–38:30: We witness the heartbreaking consequences of spiritual blindness as Joseph's brothers, consumed by jealousy, sell him into slavery. The narrative then shifts to Judah, whose own moral blindness leads to a shocking confrontation that will forever change him.
John 9:1–41: A man born blind receives his physical sight from Jesus, leading to a profound spiritual awakening. This miracle exposes the willful blindness of the religious leaders who refuse to see the truth standing before them.
