What's in the Bible? A First-Timer's Journey

Day 18 – Messy Families, Mighty Plans

Listen Later

Today’s reading is full of drama—Joseph is betrayed by his brothers, Tamar tricks her father-in-law Judah, and Jesus confronts the Pharisees about blasphemy and faith. But underneath all the chaos is a bigger picture: God’s plan still moves forward, even when people mess up.

In this episode, I ask: Why would Onan’s child be considered his brother’s? Did God want Judah to be the father all along? And did Jesus always know He was the Son of God, even as a kid? Let’s get into it.
