The Pharisees and scribes continued to test Jesus. They judged the disciples for not following their customs and traditions. Jesus accused the Pharisees and scribes of being concerned about human rules while ignoring God’s Law. They created human rules to bypass God’s Law. What comes out of a man tells on his heart, and that will defile a man. Jesus continued to perform miracles of healing. He fed a crowd of four thousand with seven loaves of bread and a few fish. Jesus warned the disciples about the Pharisees. Peter confessed Jesus as the Christ, and Jesus told of His future death and resurrection.
