The story of the Incarnation begins long before the birth of Jesus and even long before Gabriel says something to Mary. As Paul reflects on the Incarnation of Christ he teaches believers that we do not only benefit from what Jesus was able to accomplish because of the Incarnation, but the Incarnation itself serves as a model for what it means to love like Christ.
