On Day 2 we pray Colossians 1:13-14 and God’s rescuing activity over the Hindu World.

Part of the significance of Ram’s defeat of Ravan(a) is that this demon king had taken captive Ram’s wife Sita as an act of revenge. Ram(a),embarked on this mythological epic, with the help of his brother Lakshman and the monkey king, Hanuman to defeat Ravana and rescue his bride.

Colossians 1:13-14 tells us about Yahweh’s bride-rescuing-activity, where we read: “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Let’s pray for Hindu’s today to acknowledge their need to be rescued and redeemed by the true King and Savior, Lord Jesus.

We ask in the name of Jesus that you, father, would show the Hindu world, in dramatic ways, how they are held captive in Satan’s domain of lies, deceit and darkness. And Jesus, in even more dramatic ways, through healing and deliverance from demonic depression, demonstrate to the Hindu world your rule and authority, your kingdom of love, redemption and forgiveness. 

We pray all this in your name Lord Jesus, Amen.
