Day 216 – Carried from Birth to Old Age — Isaiah 46–49 | Bible In A Year (CSB)

Listen Later

Isaiah 46–49 contrasts the powerless idols of Babylon with the living God who carries His people from birth to old age. These chapters reveal God's heart for Israel, His servant, and introduce the mysterious figure of the “Servant of the Lord,” who will bring salvation not only to Israel but to the ends of the earth. God’s faithfulness, sovereignty, and global redemptive purpose are all on display as He calls His people to trust in Him alone.Questions:1. What does it mean for God to “carry” His people from the womb to gray hairs (Isaiah 46:3–4), and how does that impact your view of God’s role in every season of life?2. How does the introduction of the Servant of the Lord in these chapters point toward a broader mission beyond Israel, and what does that reveal about God’s heart for the nations?3. Why is it significant that God contrasts Himself so sharply with idols, and how can this help us discern and reject the “idols” that compete for our trust today?Use my affiliate link to get the CSB apologetics study bible hereMy video review the CSB Apologetics Study BibleAll our links are here
