Pain has a multifaceted way of working itself out in our lives. While it may lay dormant for years, it can also come to the surface with the most benign of experiences and flood our hearts and minds completely. Past pain has a way, especially for men, of growing deep roots that hide in dark and undiscoverable places. Today we're praying for your husband's past hurts. We're praying for complete surrender of this pain to the Lord and for any vices, addictions, or sinful actions that are attached to the pain to be destroyed in Jesus' name.
